Roma manager Jose Mourinho was asked about his side’s reaction after the defeat with Genoa which resulted in three consecutive wins.

At full-time in Cagliari, following his team’s 4-1 victory over Ranieri’s side, Mourinho spoke to the media about his close bond with the players and its importance in difficult moments.

“I’ve always said that players change,” said the Special One. “We’ve talked about building a family, a bubble in which we work with each other every day. Win or lose we are always together.”

“Many times what happens is that there are difficult moments, or bad results. It happens. This time, empathy was very important, we didn’t panic, we analyzed the situation. We cannot enter the Olimpico with fear or shame. The fans always helped us and the boys felt it.”

“This was the last match before the break, first away win of the season, we needed the points. A fantastic attitude from everyone. I’m proud of the boys.”
