Roma manager Jose Mourinho confirmed Bruno Conti’s presence on the club’s touchline this evening versus Salernitana.
In light of Jose Mourinho and Salvatore Foti’s suspensions, legendary Roma captain Bruno Conti was asked to come in and support the Special One’s coaching staff in order to get off to a good start in the new Serie A campaign.
In yesterday’s press conference, Mourinho declared that Conti will also travel with the team to Verona where in a week’s time the Giallorossi are set to face Hellas.
“Conti made the history of this club, he’s a legend,” said Mourinho. “I wish he was always there with me on the bench. He will certainly be there against Verona as well.”
