Jose Mourinho outlines expectations for Roma’s upcoming match with Frosinone

Following a shocking defeat to Genoa on Thursday night, Jose Mourinho briefly addressed Roma’s needed reaction.

With only a few days of rest before the next Serie A affair with Frosinone, Mourinho said in his post-match press conference, “The fans don’t need me to talk a lot: they know what I think. The pain is not only mine, but also for all of them who are amazing.”

“I expect the players, beyond respect to the fans, to give their best in the next match, despite the pressure involved. The start of this season is terrible. If the fans have a negative reaction to us, we have to react well in return. The players went under the away section to meet the fans on their own initiative, not mine: they know what it means to be a Roma fan. There is no discussion.”

“We don’t have to apologize, because we feel double the pain as professionals. We must move on to Sunday and play well.”
