Roma manager Jose Mourinho touched upon the status of various key players for the Giallorossi after Roma’s win over Lecce.

Following his side’s last-minute comeback victory over Roberto D’Aversa’s team, Mourinho addressed reporters in his post-match presser.

The Special One spoke about the status of Lorenzo Pellegrini, Leonardo Spinazzola and Chris Smalling – all of whom are currently nursing different injuries.

“Fortunately today nobody got injured,” said the Portuguese manager. “Spinazzola, Pellegrini are closer to returning with each passing day.”

“Smalling is a more difficult case, he’s further away in recovery and leaves us in difficult spot,” he added.

“If you ask me who will play in defense versus Slavia Praha my answer will be simple: Mancini, Llorente and Ndicka, there’s nothing else to add.”

“Tonight we’re emotionally fulfilled. These players deserve nights like this one because they’re extraordinary humans. We’re a beautiful family.”
