Jose Mourinho thanked Roma supporters during a recent meeting with cardinal Jose Tolentino de Mendonca at the Gregorian University in Rome.
“The easiest way to define a great club is to say ‘it wins a lot and therefore is a top club’,” Mourinho said as per ANSA’s report.
“But there are big clubs that have never won and are top clubs from a social and affective point of view.”
“Roma has this beauty, which is even more beautiful when the media try to divide us. I’m the one who thanks the fans for what they gave me all this time,” he added.
