Roma boss Jose Mourinho discussed the challenges awaiting his men in tonight’s Europa League showdown with Slavia Praha.
In an interview with Sky Sport, Mourinho declared, “We had an excellent reaction after the catastrophic defeat in Genoa, with four straight victories.”
“The last match we played against Monza was not us at our best nor did we deserve much from it, but it showed that the team has confidence.”
“The fans kept the team in the game until the very last minute, they were absolutely key for us,” he added.
“The team we will face tomorrow is the strongest team in the group, we are both on 6 points. Last year we worked hard to finish second.”
“Slavia are strong. They play to win and have a lot of confidence,” Mourinho concluded.
