Newly acquired Juan Jesus gave a brief interview to the Brazilian website Lance.com.br about his days so far at the club:
“The first few days here have been very rewarding, the staff is made up of good people, they all welcomed me very nicely. There is something familiar about the environment, I am having fun with everyone. With be Brazilians Alisson, Gerson and Emerson Palmieri, we immediately established a great feeling amongst each other. We can all in our own help Roma reach the objectives for this season.”
“Against Porto we will need to have a great game because it is a team with a lot of quality. Being in such an important competition like the Champions League, I’m sure that it will be a very difficult match. I think the team who were less will advance. Our goal is always to achieve the greatest results. Our priority is to advance, it’s our first goal. We will do our best to reach the group stage. Our group is strong enough to have our say in the Champions League, league, and Coppa Italia.”
