RomaPress – “Juan Jesus is a footballer we like, he would be a great addition for us” – the words of Cagliari sporting director Pierluigi Carta today confirm what has been known for days: Eusebio Di Francesco wants to reunite with the Brazilian in Sardinia.
The former Inter man is nearing an exit from Roma and is close to joining Cagliari, however, the deal between the two clubs is still not complete. The sides are still discussing minor details related to the base fee, which should be around €3 million, for the defender.
The Brazilian and his agent, Roberto Calenda, have already agreed to personal terms with the Isolani on a contract that will expire in June 2023. The deal, though, could be wrapped-up and finalised this weekend.
