Former Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar discussed what it’s like playing for his former boss—current Roma manager Josè Mourinho.
The Brazilian played two seasons under the Portuguese tactician at Inter from 2008 until 2010.
The 42 year-old and was asked about what life was like under the ‘Special One’, who won the treble with the Nerazzurri in the 2009/2010 season.
“He pushes you a lot,” he said during an appearance on Amazon Prime Video during the pregame of Inter-Real Madrid.
“He pushes and pushes and pushes. If you don’t have a strong mentality, then you can’t be his player.”
Adding, “He squeezes every bit out from you like an orange.”
Mourinho has enjoyed a quick start to life in the Italian capital since his appointment in May—beginning the season with a five match unbeaten streak.
