Roma are reportedly willing to give Justin Kluivert another chance as the Dutch attacker returns from two consecutive loan spells, the last being with OGC Nice in France.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the 23-year-old is expected to join his Roma teammates in preseason training camp.
The player had drawn interest from other French clubs including Olympique de Marseille but Roma haven’t received any concrete offers thus far.
For the time being, Jose Mourinho is willing to reintegrate him with the team and will evaluate whether Kluivert’s responds adequately to this opportunity.
The situation could follow a scenario similar to Marash Kumbulla’s from last year, when the Albanian defender was close to leaving the capital but ultimately convinced Mourinho of his abilities and was allowed to stay.
