Justin Kluivert’s club future is still a major question mark following his season long loan spell at Nice from Roma.
The Dutchman joined the Ligue 1 side last summer on an initial loan deal with an option to make the transfer permanent. Though, the option would turn into an obligation for €15 million if Nice secured Champions League qualification.
The attacker tallied 4 goals and 5 assists in 26 league appearances and was widely expected to remain at the club long term.
However, Gianluca Di Marzio reports the French club’s condition to make the deal permanent are different than what Roma expected—with the two clubs now at odds regarding the attacker’s future.
The parties will touch base in the coming days to take stock and discuss the situation.
