Earlier today Massimiliano Allegri addressed the media ahead of Sunday’s big game against Roma at the Allianz Stadium. The manager touched upon facing Mourinho, Dybala’s availability and more.
On tomorrow’s game:
“Today for the first time I saw the whole team together after the international break. We are lucky to have had the European players return between Wednesday and Thursday, last night the South Americans arrived and let’s see what we can do with that.”
“I’ll decide in the morning on line-up.”
“Juventus-Roma is always a great match where there has often been controversy. There is Mourinho who has given character, they are ahead of us and we have to score points like in the next 7 matches so as not to stray from the best positions in the standings.”
“We need to prepare well and immediately turn the switch back on after the break.”
On Morata and Dybala’s status:
“Morata will train with the team today but it depends on how what risks he will run to be available, we don’t want to frustrate the work of all the medical staff. Dybala is absolutely not far behind Morata, he will be able to return in a week, maximum 10 days.”
On Dybala’s recovery:
“No problems, he’s right on schedule. It was thought that perhaps with a few days less he would have been available, however, when those things happen to you you just have to accept them. On a muscular level you think one thing and you think you can be back in no time. It always depends on the evolution of the situation.”
