Juve boss Max Allegri staying positive after dropping points to Roma

Juventus manager Max Allegri wasn’t disconcerted during his post-match interview despite his team dropping points at home to Roma.

Paulo Dybala’s superb delivery on Tammy Abraham’s headed goal canceled out Dusan Vlahovic’s early free kick goal, resulting in Juve’s second draw in a row.

“The season is still long. We were at risk of even losing this game towards the end from a corner kick,” he told DAZN.

“We risked capitulating and that would’ve been very damaging from a psychological perspective. It was a good game, though. Obviously we need to improve on some situations but we were aggressive and did well from a technical perspective.”

He added, “Up until they drew level we had chances by playing with an extra man on the left side since Roma added more cover to the right.”

“Nonetheless, I congratulated the lads, Roma are a great and José is always good at keeping the team always focused on the game.”
