The “domino deal” that would see Edin Dzeko join Juventus and Napoli’s Arkadiusz Milik go to Roma remains on hold.
Despite several days of negotiations, Roma and Napoli have still not been able to find an agreement for the swap deal involving Cengiz Ünder and the Polish international Milik.
Since the Giallorossi will only allow Dzeko to go once a replacement is found, Juventus have continued their contact for Luis Suarez: the sides have even reached an agreement to personal terms, reports Sky Sport.
The Bianconeri are awaiting developments between the Uruguayan and Barcelona, who are eager for the striker to depart. Juve haven’t given up in their pursuit of Dzeko, but as they await updates on the deal between Roma and Napoli, they’re also working on the deal for Suarez.
