Goal Italia has reported that the leadership of Juventus has officially communicated to the entourage of Gonzalo Higuain that the player is no longer in their technical plans. The Bianconeri hierarchy, reportedly, had an up-front and sincere telephone call with Higuain and communicated that Pipita is available on the transfer market. The ex-Napoli man still has two years left on his contract, which pays him €7.5 million (net) per season. The attacker is now forced to find a solution. Roma has expressed their interest in the player after Juventus gave them the “OK” to hold talks with Higuain and his brother-agent, Nicola. At the moment, though, Higuain is resisting Roma’s overtures and is not convinced to accept the capital-based club. The Bianconeri are in no hurry and there would be no problems in finding an agreement with the Giallorossi on the right formula for the operation. However, Roma must first try and convince the player to accept the destination.
