Juve pushing to close deal for Nicolo Zaniolo by next week

Juventus are reportedly ramping up their pursuit of Roma attacker Nicolò Zaniolo.

According to SportItalia journalist Alfredo Pedulla, Roma lowered their asking price for the Italian international from €50 million to slightly less than €45 million.

Juve initially wanted to add a player into the deal to lower the cash amount requested by Roma. Despite the Bianconeri’s insistence, the capital club made it clear they’ll only accept cash.

Unwilling to risk the deal falling through, Juve are prepared to meet Roma’s asking price and believe they can close the deal by next week.

They’re prepared to acquire Zaniolo on loan for €10-12 million and will pay an additional €30 million as part of the obligation to buy.
