Juventus consider including Dean Huijsen in deal for Atalanta’s Koopmeiners

Juventus are thinking of bringing back Dean Huijsen following his loan at Roma.

The Bianconeri seem increasingly convinced of Huijsen’s growth since his decision to join Roma on loan in January: since then, the young defender made 12 appearances across all competitions, scoring 2 goals along the way.

However, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Huijsen is also being considered for Juve’s own transfer plans for the summer.

In fact, the newspaper claims Huijsen could be used by Juventus as a way of getting to Atalanta’s Koopmeiners – a long-time target for the Bianconeri’s midfield.

Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini is said to be a big fan of Huijsen and could accept a deal involving the 18-year-old centreback for Koopmeiners who already expressed his desire to leave Bergamo at the end of the season.

Roma, in the meantime, are still hopeful to extend Huijsen’s loan in the Italian capital.
