Roma are on the search of a new sporting director following the announcement of Tiago Pinto’s imminent departure.

The club are looking to replace the Portuguese General Manager with an experienced director in Serie A.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma are keeping track of several candidates for the job.

Among them is Federico Cherubini, currently an executive for Juventus.

The news portal claims Roma are very appreciative of Cherubini and his work for the Bianconeri which focused particularly on the scouting and development of younger players including Yildiz, Soule and even the signing of important players such as Dusan Vlahovic.

The capital club consider Cherubini a good fit as they also aim to make younger players a central part of their long-term project under the Friedkins.
