Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie commented on the match with Roma which ended in a 1-1 draw at the Stadio Olimpico last night.
“It was a fun match, but also very tough,” McKennie told DAZN in his post-match media appearance.
“We worked as a team, for each other. We had several chances, but we didn’t score. Maybe we deserved the victory, we wanted to win.”
“Like every team, as the season progresses, the players are increasingly tired physically and mentally. Maybe at the beginning of the season you saw us fighting in every race, now it’s harder because there’s more tiredness, including mental fatigue.”
“We didn’t take the importance of playing for Juve for granted. We don’t want to lose. In some situations we were unlucky.”
