Roma are now being linked with Turkish centre-back Merih Demiral of Juventus as the defender’s future in Turin remains uncertain.
According to calciomercato.com, Demiral has been offered to Roma in recent days. Juventus are looking to sell the 24-year-old after his loan spell to Atalanta came to an end.
The Bergamaschi still haven’t decided whether to trigger the option included in the deal for Demiral, which caused Andrea Agnelli’s club to look elsewhere for potential suitors.
For the moment, the Giallorossi haven’t shown any interest in the player and the offer has been rejected.
