Federico Chiesa remains Roma’s top target for the summer as his future at Juventus remains uncertain.
In recent weeks, the Italian winger has been increasingly linked with a possible exit from the Bianconeri this summer.
His contract expires in 2025 and Chiesa’s entourage have yet to hold talks over a new deal with Juve’s managemenet.
With Massimiliano Allegri gone and Thiago Motta set to become the new manager at Juventus, Chiesa is hoping to address his contractual situation before it’s too late.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, the Bianconeri are not entirely convinced of Chiesa’s place in the team.
Juventus are reportedly open to selling Chiesa for a reasonable offer – Motta did not include the player in his non-transferable list for the summer.
Moreover, Di Marzio reports that Roma are the team to have shown most interest in Chiesa.
If the player were to leave Juventus it would likely be in the direction of the Italian capital as Giallorossi boss Daniele De Rossi is a big fan of his.
At the moment there are no ongoing negotiations between the two sides but Roma remain at the window.
