Roma are locked into a complicated operation for the transfer of Federico Chiesa.

The Italian winger remains Roma’s top priority for the summer.

Chiesa is in fact deemed the ideal fit for Daniele De Rossi’s 4-3-3 and the manager is a big admirer of the ex-Fiorentina man.

With a meeting set to go under way next week between Roma and Chiesa’s agent, Fali Ramadani, the club will attempt to take concrete steps toward the signing of the 26-year-old footballer.

However, Tuttosport reports that as things stand a deal involving Chiesa is very difficult.

The player is only one year away from the expiry of his contract and Juventus do not seem willing to satisfy his demands for a new deal.

In spite of this, the newspaper reports that Juventus will not be lowering their pricetag on the player.

In fact, the Bianconeri will refuse to sit down and consider offers inferior to €40 million – a figure too high for the Giallorossi’s possibilities.
