Daniele Rugani will not be joining Roma. Alfredo Pedulla of SportItalia reports that the operation to send the 25 year-old to Roma in exchange for cash plus Alessio Riccardi and Zan Celar is off. Despite Rugani having already chosen a shirt number (he chose the #6) and waiting for the green light to join the Giallorossi — the transfer will not go through. What happened? Reportedly, Fonseca had given his OK to the deal, but it was Gianluca Petrachi who expressed doubts. CEO Giudo Fienda had even discussed the the financial figures with Juve’s Paratici, but now Roma will turn to another name after their sporting director had trepidation regarding the operation.
#Rugani–#Roma: accordi saltati con la #Juve venti minuti fa, quasi definitivamente. E #Riccardi resta
