Kalinić unlikely to return to Roma, nearing Fenerbahçe

Roma will likely have to search for a new “vice Edin Dzeko” this summer as Nikola Kalinić has an offer on the table from Fenerbahçe.

Calciomercato.it has reported that the Croatian has received an offer from the Turkish side to replace the outgoing Vedat Muriqi, who is joining Lazio.

Kalinić’s contract with parent club Atletico Madrid expires in next summer but he has no intention of playing for the Spanish side this season.

The player would have been open to a Roma stay, but his departure seems ever closer after he joined Paulo Fonseca’s side on loan late last summer.
