Hellas Verona unveiled striker Nikola Kalinić this afternoon after the Croatian completed a move this week from Atletico Madrid.
The attacker spent last season on loan at Roma, where he made 17 appearances and score 5 goals in all competitions.
“I played consistently at Fiorentina while at Milan I was affected by injuries,” said the striker.
“I didn’t do bad in Rome: I started only 7 matches but I scored 5 goals.
In Rome I didn’t hurt because – despite playing only 7 games as a starter – I scored 5 goals. If I can play with the same continuity that I had at Fiorentina then I will be able to give a lot.”
“It took me a bit to start scoring when I was there, but once I got the first one, I didn’t stop.”
