Karsdorp: “I didn’t perform badly when I was on the pitch at Roma”.

Rick Karsdorp will return to Roma in the coming weeks.

The right back spent this past season on loan at Feyenoord and made 15 league appearances with 1 goal and 3 assists to his name. The Dutch side, however, will not activate their option to make the loan move a permanent one, paving way for Karsdorp to return to the Italian capital.

Today, the Dutchman was interviewed by NOS and discussed what’s in store for his future next.

“My future will definitely not be here at Feyenoord,” he admitted.

”If they still want me at Roma then I’ll stay there. I want to take my chance there. I was often injured at the club but I didn’t perform badly when I was on the pitch”.

”But neither myself nor Feyenoord heard from Roma throughout the season, maybe it’s a sign they don’t want me anymore”.
