The situation revolving Rick Karsdorp’s tense dispute with Roma boss Jose Mourinho continues to spiral out of control as the player was once again absent in today’s training session.
The Dutchman – who is presently in Amsterdam – did not travel with the team to Japan and is now pushing to leave the capital club.
According to the latest report by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Karsdorp has communicated to Roma that the reason for his absence in the past training sessions is due to “psychological issues” related to lack of confidence and his position at the club in jeopardy after the clash with Mourinho.
The capital club will now assess the claim and have the player undergo further medical tests.
