Rick Karsdorp spoke today to Feyenoord TV after completing his loan move back to the Dutch club from the Giallorossi. These are his words:
“This is a great feeling, of course. I spent two years in Rome and now I am loaned to Feyenoord, which is something I actually wanted last season. In the end, it didn’t go through, but I kept in contact with Feyenoord. It was clear Roma didn’t want to continue with me and that I’d be able to leave. Feyenoord came forward for me and I decided to join: I didn’t think twice about it. I want to be on the pitch as quickly as possible with these guys, I’m looking forward to it”
“The move happened really quickly. I could barely sleep last night. I drove very early in the morning to Rome to pack my things then I was on a plane at 6.30 CET this morning: everything happened quickly, which makes it exciting. I had several offers but after talking with my family, friends, and agent – I decided on the best choice for me, which was Feyenoord. This feels like my second home and there is a good team here”.
