After the deal between Roma and Atalanta for Rick Karsdorp collapsed, the Dutchman is now closing in on a move to fellow Italian side Genoa.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Il Grifone are closing in on the acquisition of the ex-Feyenoord defender on a loan deal with an obligation to buy, which would be triggered after the player reaches a certain number of appearances.
The figures of the deal with Genoa are the exact same as they were with Atalanta: the obligation to buy would cost Rolando Maran’s side a total of €7 million.
The deal is extremely close to reaching a successful conclusion as Rick Karsdorp is set to, once again, leave Roma on loan.
