Karsdorp set for Genoa move, deal set to close tomorrow

As Juventus defender Mattia De Sciglio is closing in on a move to Roma, the Giallorossi’s Rick Karsdorp is nearing an exit from the Italian capital club, whom he joined in the summer of 2017.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Dutch fullback’s transfer to Genoa is set to close tomorrow.

The two clubs have had an agreement in place for some time for the transfer of the ex-Feyenoord defender, however, the Giallorossi wanted to ensure that they purchased a replacement before allowing him to leave.

Karsdorp will join il Grifone on loan with an obligation to buy, which will be triggered once the player makes a certain number of appearances for Rolando Maran’s side.
