Rick Karsdorp, who recently left Roma to join Feyenoord on loan, was interviewed by Voetbal International today. These are his words:
“At Roma, you’re left on your own. There’s some guys who walk for five minutes before training while others have already spent two hours in the gym. There’s sometimes workouts where you don’t even talk to anybody – everyone does their own thing. I was shocked when I was in Rome. I like the atmosphere in the Netherlands better – the dressing room is more light-hearted. I need there to be a good environment around me”.
