Karsdorp’s Atalanta move nearing collapse due to dispute over commissions

Roma fullback Rick Karsdorp’s proposed move to Atalanta was just steps away from being finalised, but the deal is now close to totally collapsing.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the transfer of the Dutchman to Bergamo is in danger because La Dea has been unable to find an agreement on the commissions for the deal.

Because of this, Atalanta have turned their attention to Chelsea fullback Davide Zappacosta, who spent last season on loan with the Giallorossi, as a Plan B.

The Giallorossi are eager to offload the former Feyenoord man, who is widely considered one of the club’s biggest flops in recent history.
