Kevin Danso is eyeing his first major opportunity to feature for De Rossi’s Roma in the upcoming match with Juventus.
The Austrian defender arrived in the Italian capital on Wednesday afternoon and – after completing his medical and signing his new contract – is ready to play as soon as this Sunday.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Danso is in magnificent physical shape having already played two ninety minute matches with Lens – both won and without conceding a goal – and already against Juve he will be able to be on the pitch to try to give that extra physicality to the department and help the team to score points after the disappointing defeat against Empoli.
His use will be able to guarantee De Rossi to also try a new formation with the three-man defence, therefore using Danso at the center of the defense with Mancini on the right and N’Dicka on the left: a solution that would allow the team to be more balanced, with better coverage in case of counterattacks and also allow a tactical and mental turning point for the group.
Today Danso will train in a group for the first time to get to know the team and prepare for Sunday’s match against Juventus in which he could make his debut immediately from the first minute.
