Kevin Strootman remembers his time in the capital

Ex-Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman, also known as La lavatrice (the washing machine), recently gave an interview to Corriere dello Sport where he recounted his time at Roma from 2013 to 2018.

The Cagliari player said the following:

“I certainly cannot summarize in a few minutes everything that Roma meant to me.”

“Those were beautiful years during which I felt wonderful about everything. I have good memories because, even in the two years I was injured, the people, the fans were always close to me.”

“We didn’t win trophies but we had the satisfaction of setting several points records, almost every year.”
