Kluivert: “Joining Leipzig can only be good for me. Even my father advised me that I should join.”

Justin Kluivert, once again, was asked about his loan move to RB Leipzig today during an interview with Dutch outlet NOS.nl.

The Dutchman bid farewell to the Italian capital last weekend after having completed a loan move to Germany after having been relegated to a bench role under Giallorossi manager Paulo Fonseca.

“I saw what Leipzig did in the Champions League and Bundesliga and how they played. I really enjoyed watching them,” said Kluivert.

“My father even advised me that I should go and play for Leipzig. We have the chance to do even better this year. I chose an ambitious club because that’s how I am, too. Coming to a club like this can only be good for me.”
