Roma midfielder Manu Kone was injured after a tackle in the first half and left the pitch at halftime after limping back to the locker room with a contusion.

His recovery for Sunday’s match in Reggio Emilia is still being assessed. During the match against Viktoria Plzen, Konè collapsed due to a contusion, forcing Gasperini to be substituted.

This unfortunate incident not only complicates Roma’s match, but could also have repercussions for their upcoming Serie A fixtures and beyond.

According to Sky Sport, in the next few hours, tests will be carried out to assess Konè’s condition; only then will a complete picture of the extent of the injury and his recovery time be available.
