The Giallorossi coach, in fact, wants to complete Koné’s transformation, transforming him from a defensive midfielder into a defensive attacker, from a defensive midfielder to a midfielder capable of attacking spaces and deciding matches in the opposition’s penalty area.
According to Transfermarkt estimates, Koné’s value has increased by €10 million, making him the most valuable midfielder in Serie A (€60 million). His brace against Inter could be just the beginning of the new version of the 2001-born player.

The former Borussia Mönchengladbach player is Roma’s second-most accurate passer (90.2%), compared to last season (0.44), now producing 1.40 shots per 90 minutes. Even more significant is the increase in shots on target: from 0.18 to 0.84.
