Kostas Manolas is wanted back at Trigoria as Daniele De Rossi has asked for his friend and former teammate to join his ranks.
According to Il Tempo, the details of Manolas’ return are being finalized with the Greek defender ready to bring his experience to a Roma side with plenty of young talent.
In De Rossi’s mind, Roma will benefit from the trio of free agents they will have at the back: Hermoso, Hummels and Manolas.
Manolas is expected in Rome soon and will have to undergo a strict training regime to get back to optimal physical condition following his disappointing spell with Salernitana.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Manolas is ready to accept a one-year contract worth €450,000.
