Former Roma defender Kostas Manolas shared his thoughts on the eve of the Derby della Capitale which will see his former teammate, Daniele De Rossi, lead the Giallorossi in a fiery derby for the first time as head coach.
In the aftermath of Sassuolo 2-2 Salernitana, the Greek centreback told Sky Sport, “I think De Rossi will feel the derby much more this time around since he’s new to the this side of the sport.”
“I wish him the best, I hope Roma win the match,” he added.
“I will cheer for the Giallorossi, they are the first team in Italy for me, they launched me into the football that counts.”
