RomaPress – Marash Kumbulla has arrived in Rome and is ready to officially become a new AS Roma player.
The Albanian defender touched down at Fiumicino Airport this afternoon at 16.35 CET ahead of his €30 million move from Hellas Verona.
Kumbulla was immediately taken to Villa Stuart Hospital in Rome to undergo his medical before signing his contract with the Giallorossi. The defender will sign a five-year contract with Roma worth €2 million (net) per season.
Both the player and his representatives are confident that he will be able to participate in this weekend’s clash against his soon-to-be former side Verona, however, the decision will ultimately be up to manager Paulo Fonseca.
