Roma defender Marash Kumbulla called upon his side to give a response following their dreadful display on Sunday against Milan.
The Giallorossi look to get back to winning ways this evening as they face Cesare Prandelli’s Fiorentina side in Tuscany. The match comes just days after Roma were dealt a major blow in their hopes for a top four finish after they were defeated by the Rossoneri.
“We have to give a response today after the loss to Milan,” Kumbulla said to Roma TV. “We lacked courage and conceded goals. We need to improve on everything.”
“We’re aware we can’t repeat the mistakes we’ve made in the past. Hopefully we start strong just like we’ve done before. As a group, we feel more united but tonight isn’t going to be easy.”
He added, “We took a look at everything that went wrong against Milan, we’re ready to face Fiorentina.”
