Kumbulla calm ahead of Juve showdown: “We want to show what we’re capable of.”

Roma defender Marash Kumbulla acknowledged before kick-off that this evening’s showdown against Juventus is an important test for his side.

The Giallorossi have struggled mightily against the top six sides in the Serie A this season, but the Albanian maintained that his side are energised and confident ahead of the tie.

“We’re energised and ready to go, we want to show what we’re capable of,” he said to Roma TV. “We’re facing a strong side but we want to exploit our chances.”

“Their attack? Ronaldo and Morata are two champions, but we’ll try and give them trouble. We have to play in the way we know we’re capable of. We’re going to give our all to try and bring home a result.”

“All eleven of us on the pitch have to work together this evening.”
