Roma defender Marash Kumbulla spoke at a press conference today while on national team duty with Albania.
The youngster, who joined Roma in September, along with his teammates will face Kazakhstan and Lithuania on Sunday and Wednesday in the Nations League competition.
“I’m very happy to have joined Roma because I went to one of the most historic clubs in Italy,” said Kumbulla.
“I think this will help me with the national team, but the manager will be the one who ultimately makes the decisions. The most important thing is playing and Albania winning.”
“Chiellini spoke to me after the match against Juve and he complimented me on my decision to join Roma, he’s an idol.”
Kumbulla joined the Giallorossi last month on permanent deal from Hellas Verona.
