RomaPress – Roma have been dealt their first casualty of the international break. Central defender Marash Kumbulla suffered a knee jury today with Albania, and there are growing concerns that it could be a torn ligament.
Kumbulla’s agent, Gianni Vitali, commented on the situation briefly to RomaPress when asked about his client’s injury.
“Is there a chance it’s his ACL? No absolutely not,” he said.
“His ACL isn’t even in the discussion. I believe he’ll return to Rome tomorrow then we’ll see.”
Kumbulla will have to undergo scans for a definitive diagnosis, but the Giallorossi fear they could be without him for some time.
