Roma defender Marash Kumbulla will miss several months of action after suffering a season-ending injury versus Milan.
After the match, Kumbulla was diagnosed with a torn ACL.
The Albanian centreback addressed his own situation with a post on Instagram.
“Difficult to find words to describe the situation I am in,” he wrote. “The season didn’t go as I would have liked and ended in the worst possible way for an athlete.”
“I am very disappointed and I will need some time to heal and to be able to play again. I will use this time to come back even stronger and to change things, I assure you.”
“Thanks to everyone for the messages and good luck to my teammates and all of Roma for the rest of the season. It’s not over yet. Daje Roma!”
