Marash Kumbulla – who replaced injured Roger Ibañez in the second half of last night’s loss at the San Siro – was interviewed by Sky Sport after the final whistle and asked to comment on the team’s lack of consistency.

“Surely we had the wrong approach to begin with, and after that opening to the game it was all downhill for Inter.”

“We need to improve under this aspect, after the first 5 ′ we did well but for them the game became too easy from the start.”

“We are not in a position to say that we are doing everything well but I am proud of my teammates, we can do more.”

He added, “One thing I can say is that we need to be more consistent throughout the game. Maybe it’s a mentality problem, we need to be more united as a team during the difficult moments.”

“Against Genoa we struggled in the first half, we didn’t manage to win not only because of our own mistakes. There was another team today in front of us, we need to be more consistent during the match.”
