Kumbulla returns to the capital to undergo tests after injury

Marash Kumbulla will be the first Roma player to anticipate a return to the Italian capital from international duty.

The Albanian defender went down with an injury in the match against England.

The Albanian national team announced earlier today that Kumbulla has left the national team retreat and made his return to Rome.

The player sustained a heavy knock to the thigh and will undergo tests to evaluate the extent of the injury.
