Kumbulla, Smalling, and Ibañez still training individually

Roma are sweating the status of defending trio of Marash Kumbulla, Chris Smalling, and Roger Ibañez ahead of Sunday’s match against Milan.

The Giallorossi were without all three for Sunday’s disappointing 0-0 draw against Benevento in Campagna. However, manager Paulo Fonseca is keeping his fingers crossed that all three will recover in time for their showdown against the Rossoneri.

The trio were absent from Sunday’s disappointing 0-0 draw against Benevento in Campagna. They are also expected to miss out on Thursday’s Europa League encounter with Braga.

Meanwhile, Bryan Cristante appears a near certainty to recover in time for the clash against Milan. The Italian went out injured during last Thursday’s first leg against Braga.

However, all signs point to him being ready for this weekend after he partially trained with the group today.
