Kumbulla undergoes tests: excluded major injuries

Marash Kumbulla returned to the Italian capital earlier today after going down in Albania’s match against England.

According to Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, the player underwent a series of tests at Trigoria under the supervision of the club’s medical staff.

The tests revealed no major injury.

The tests did however show muscle resentment. The Albanian international’s condition will be monitored daily.

It remains to be seen whether Kumbulla will be at Jose Mourinho’s disposal in the game against Genoa.
