Paris Saint-Germain attacker Kylian Mbappe praised Roma’s recent Europa League campaign.

In a recent interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Mbappe had high praise for Roma and Fiorentina for their respective performances in Europe this season.

“Too bad for their defeats in the finals, but it was a nice spot for Italian football. Fiorentina and Roma show that you can do well even without having the big budgets of Psg, Manchester City or other big European clubs.”

“I have been following Serie A since I was a child. Certainly Ronaldo brought new attention to a championship that was always very tactical, but where the overall level rose a lot over the years. It can be the beginning of a new cycle,” he concluded.
